Why We’re Looking Forward to ATD
Our favorite time of the year is nearly here, the ATD International Conference & Exposition, also known as #ATD2019! Join us and 10,000+ other professionals at the world’s largest talent development conference in Washington, D.C. from May 19-22.
There are many reasons ATD is one of our favorite conferences to exhibit at each year, including a once in a lifetime opportunity to see this year’s keynote speakers: global media leader, philanthropist, producer, and actress Oprah Winfrey, entrepreneur and bestselling author Seth Godin, and Grammy-winning composer and conductor Eric Whitacre. These diverse speakers are known for their ingenuity, creative problem solving, and all-around inspirational messages.
In addition to the truly exciting keynote speakers, this year’s event also includes 400+ educational sessions, 300+ speakers, and 400+exhibitors. This unique event offers exposure to industry thought leaders, opportunities to engage in meaningful dialogues with other attendees on industry trends and challenges, and the chance to network with professionals from around the world.
If there’s a project you’re struggling with or a concept you’d like to learn more about, #ATD2019 is the place to dive in. The full program of over 400 sessions is organized into tracks based on the general topic and intended audience, to make navigation and selection easier for attendees. Once you’re on site, an interactive mobile app will lead you through the convention center, ensuring you don’t miss a single opportunity you’ve saved to your personal schedule.
Keeping our motto of Power to the Learner® in mind, we’re looking forward to the following sessions:
- “Learning Changes: Trends, Challenges, and Hype” with Elliott Masie
- “Using Design Thinking to Craft Learning Experiences” with Connie Malamed
- “The Future of Learning Data and Analytics”
You’ll have two opportunities to connect with us at the event! Find us in the EXPO Hall at booth 2425, or attend our session, “50 is the New 30,” on Tuesday, May 21 at 4:30. Our session will be a lively discussion on generational learning, and how to differentiate and appeal to a diverse audience of learners.
