Frustrated by the lack of participation and blank stares in his large lecture classes, Dr. Perry Samson, University of Michigan, decided to leverage the technology that students were already using by creating LectureTools. Using LectureTools to add polls, quizzes and other activities to his presentations, he has seen class participation skyrocket with more than 66% of his students now asking questions.
