Although it’s sometimes called the “Second City,” Chicago is actually a place of many firsts and innovations. The world’s first skyscraper was built there in 1884. Chicago is the birthplace for such innovations as mail-order retailing, the refrigerated railcar, and the ubiquitous TV remote-control. Chicagoans even reversed the course of the Chicago River back in 1900 to make it flow toward the Mississippi instead of into Lake Michigan!

So, it’s only natural that we launch our 2015 Active Learning Conference World Tour in this hotbed of innovation at the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Save the date, May 13-14, 2015, and make plans to join the Echo360 team and a star-studded lineup of academic “rock stars” in the Windy City. You’ll see and hear firsthand from trailblazing peers and colleagues who are radically transforming the classroom experience through active learning.

Here are just a few highlights from this info-packed event. Attendees will:

  • Learn about techniques for increasing student participation and how that can lead to greater comprehension and higher grades.
  • Get the latest information and product updates on the Echo360 Active Learning Platform from our product development team.
  • Learn how to successfully select, adopt, and implement active learning technology to improve student learning and outcomes.
