This year’s challenge was to pioneer the research and strategic value of blended learning and lecture capture solutions in education today. Desired topics included learning outcomes, student retention and student recruitment, however all research topics were considered for one of four US$10,000 grant awards.

Echo360 believes in the power of lecture capture to enhance the teaching and learning process for both teaching staff and students. We are committed to engaging with the international lecture capture community to further our mutual understanding of the technology’s educational uses and its benefits; the Echo360 Blended Learning Grants Program is one of the cornerstones of this commitment. By making research grants available to the Echo360 community, the program aims to support our clients as they investigate their use of lecture capture technology and disseminate their findings to others, developing best practices along the way. Originally launched in 2009, it is the first research program of its kind.
